Licences for building and building related occupations, conveyancers and valuers will be issued under the new system in a second wave.
What does national licensing mean for me?
If you are currently training to become a property agent, electrician, plumber, gasfitter or refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic you can apply for a national licence once national licensing commences. If you complete your qualification before this time, you can apply for a state-based licence through your state/territory licensing agency.
